What we collect

QE FX is designed to work without an account. Conversions happen in your browser and are not transmitted to us. We store your theme preference and a local snapshot of rates in your browser's local storage — this data never leaves your device.

Accounts

If you create an account, we store your email address and any saved currency pairs with Supabase (our authentication and database provider). Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth; we never see or store them in plain text.

Third parties

Exchange rates are fetched server-side from Exchange Rate API — your browser never contacts them directly. Country flag images are served from flagcdn.com. We do not run advertising or sell data.
